1. i have a seven-fifty class that i am not so great at going to. i get pretty proud when i do. it is just a painful display of the horrible effects that homeschooling has on most children, i.e. lack of social skills. i fought every fiber of my being this morning that was saying stay in bed you will like your day a lot better, and went to communication theory. it even sounds painful right. oh i forgot to mention that it is basically student lead discussions everyday. yes, mostly lead by anti-social home-schoolers. okay so today we discussed the muted group theory, and how women are suppressed. i may have went off on a poor home-schooled theatre major who just picked the wrong words to start saying before i cut him off and thoroughly ripped him to shreds. fortunately i look at it as educational for him. he doesn't feel women should be assertive. well welcome to the real world genius.
2. since i have a break between my lovely seven-fifty and ten-thirty chapel, i went home with the intent of printing off a paper and the rest of my portfolio that is due tomorrow. so i worked dillegently on it for about two hours. finally got the paper finished and went to start printing things off at about noon, when what do you know happens, but my computer blackscreens with a nice little folder with a question mark in it. knowing this can't be good, i suppress my panic attack that is beginning, and grab my mac and it's case and drive to the mac store. well what do you know, but my hard drive is dead, as a doornail. go figure. sweet! nothing is salvageable, and it will take a while to fix. yes i did cry in public, bawled actually. i am sometimes smart though and had everything backed up with the exception of 100 songs, 150 pictures, and 8 documents, including the paper i have to turn in with my portfolio. oh and i do need to use those pictures for my portfolio. awesome!
3. currently my day is going just sweet right, okay well. i missed my class that i was supposed to bring food to share to. i spent three hours on tuesday night making empanadas for fifty people. yeah i made like seventy five mini empanadas. oh and home made aji. not super hard, but still time consuming. as i said, i missed my class, and therefore have every single one of those empanadas sitting in my fridge. fortunately my roommates like empanadas. so thats a plus for them anyways.
4. since i have all of my music on my ipod, i might not loose all of my music and pictures, yet i did have to pay thirty bucks to buy some software online to get it to recover itself. that is great!
5. my roommate bought her parents a puppy for christmas. it is a five week old chocolate lab. she is super cute, but she is five weeks old. and she has the worst gas ever. i swear, it is so bad, it makes you gag. she also poops everywhere. while jenny was at a meeting, i was trying to put together a kennel for her, because jenny had her in a box, and she can jump out of the box, very easily. so i am putting together the kennel, and she starts pooping, i didn't catch her early enough, so she poops a little on one side of the living room and a lot on the other side next to the puppy pad. not on it, next to it. i did set her in the middle of it, she just felt like rebelling i guess. oh i should mention, she isn't fully dewormed, so her feces are more like soup than mashed potatoes. sweet!
okay sorry about the grossness, but i almost threw up multiple times today.
there were a few good things today though i guess.
1. i do love to educate the home-schoolers.
2. they put the newest operating system on my mac. that is a sweet two hundred dollar upgrade. and it is so much cooler than my old one. oh and i made multiple mac store workers uncomfortable, which was also fun. there were a few guys who just stared at me! sweet.
3. i got to watch the office while i was rewriting my paper, of course i missed youth group, which just pushed me into a shame spiral and made me really sad. but the office season two is excellent.
4. i cried really hard, which just sometimes makes you feel better later.
5. journalism was cancelled today. i like the teacher and my fellow students, but i hate journalism with so much passion. i love when it is cancelled!
okay that is it, see there was positive stuff to today. i am just convincing myself yeah i know.

oh dear one, I am so sorry about your day! it is for sure one of your top worst days of school. I lost a paper once and I also cried and did not sleep much. make sure this weekend you do something fun.
