that title actually says it all for once. i can't believe how much i long for simplicity in my life. actually i went so far as to take my tv out of my room (much to my roommates pleasure, cause its the best one in the house) just to be able to focus on school and life and all the things that i need to. it is funny how busy life can get and how much i just long to be in simplicity. don't you ever just want days when you don't have to get out of bed and face the world, where it would just be more fun to snuggle into the covers with your favorite book and a truly awesome record playing and just stay. i don't know, but that sounds pretty perfect to me... truly
but lately life has been much more complicated then that. i would say life has been more complicated than that for about a year and six weeks right now. and actually i am okay with the busyness of life, it is okay to me to be busy, but to be truly content, i am still searching for the last little bit of that. the more i think about that though, i feel like if we become content, it is similar to becoming complacent, and that is something i never want to be. to be complacent is to have given up all of the things in life that could turn out really great! yeah i definately don't want to be complacent. and maybe we do only find our true contentness within God, but i don't know if God wants us to ever be truly content, because he calls us to continue to seek him, to find him and to search our inner depths for him. and that doesn't sound content or complacent, not to me anyways...
okay well those are my random two a.m. thoughts! work at 10, homework at 8 so, busy day! hope life is beautifully restless! that sounds like a good thing to me!
